These diffusers disperse scent in the air when through reed sticks. When a diffuser reed is placed in the scented solution, it draws the solution up and distributes it from the end placed in the solution to the end sticking out of the container. Once the diffuser reed is fully saturated, it releases the scented solution into the air.
If you're using the diffuser in a small room/bathroom, we suggest starting with 6-8 reeds. If you'd like a stronger scent, add a few more. In a larger room, 10-12 reeds will help produce a stronger scent.

How many reeds should you add?
We recommend starting out with six to eight sticks. More reeds result in a stronger throw, meaning you can easily customize the strength of your reed diffuser by using more or less reed sticks. The more sticks you use, the faster the oil will be absorbed.
When do I replace my reeds?
We recommend flipping your reeds every 3-4 days. If you start to notice the fragrance becoming weaker after several weeks, you might consider replacing your reeds. Over time the reeds will dry out and become less effective. We offer 12-packs of reeds for just $3 each.
